Jon Stewart Off ‘Daily Show’ This Week Due To Covid; Michael Kosta To Sub

Jon Stewart will be off The Daily Show this week after contracting Covid, and Daily Show correspondent Michael Kosta will step in as host.

Scheduled guests this week include author Roxane Gay, actor, former Daily Show correspondent Ed Helms and comedian Hannah Berner. Stewart hosts on Monday nights, with the rest of the week handled by its correspondents, who include Desi Lydic, Kosta and Ronny Chieng. His return came eight years after he stepped down from hosting the show, which revolutionized late-night television and brought through the likes of Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, Samantha Bee and Steve Carell.
