Jon Stewart Extends ‘The Daily Show’ Deal Through 2025, Will Host Mondays

Jon Stewart will host 'The Daily Show' on Mondays through 2025 after extending his deal with Comedy Central for another year.

“I’ve truly enjoyed being back working with the incredible team at The Daily Show and Comedy Central,” Stewart said in a press release, before joking: “I was really hoping they’d allow me to do every other Monday, but I’ll just have to suck it up.” Stewart will continue as executive producer alongside showrunner Jen Flanz and his manager James “Baby Doll” Dixon. “Jon’s incisive intellect and sharp wit make him one of the most important voices in political and cultural commentary today,” said Chris McCarthy, a Paramount executive, in a press release.
