On Monday’s episode of “ The Daily Show,” host Jon Stewart pointed out how former President Donald Trump differs from his supporters’ perception of him. “The Daily Show” cut to footage of various Trump supporters describing certain qualities of the former president, including that he is the “best friend American workers have ever had in the White House.” The show then cut to clips of Trump saying how he “hated to give overtime” to his workers, as well as admiring Elon Musk for being the “greatest cutter” when employees wanted to go on strike or quit.
