During the comedian’s late-night hosting gig on The Daily Show, the 61-year-old revealed his beloved pooch Dipper died on Sunday, seemingly from old age. Dipper had been a part of the Stewart clan for a long time after they adopted him from a NYC-based no-kill shelter called Animal Haven when his kids were young. He quickly became part of the “OG” pack of dogs at the Comedy Central show, where he met many of the guests his pops interviewed.
