Jon Heder Says His Kids 'Are Very Aware' of the Napoleon Dynamite 'Craze': 'My Daughter Actually Enjoys It'
Jon Heder has been reflecting on his starring role in 'Napoleon Dynamite' in honor of its 20th anniversary this year, and said that his kids — including his 7-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son — love the attention their dad gets from the cult-classic comedy movie.
Heder recently celebrated a mini-reunion for the movie to look back on two decades of its success, and even recreated one of its iconic scenes for a commercial that he said perfectly represents one of his character's favorite products. In a short film, produced jointly by Ore-Ida and Searchlight Pictures, Heder dons Napoleon's trademark curly hair and aviator glasses to promote — what else? For the cast's reunion in February, Heder and his former co-stars Efren Ramirez and John Griescelebrated 20 years since the film's release with a screening and an audience Q&A session in Orlando, Florida.
