Jon Bon Jovi has confirmed that his mother, Carol A. Bongiovi, died at the age of 83
The outlet reported that Carol, who was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, died on Tuesday, July 9, at New York’s Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey. A former Playboy bunny who became an entrepreneur and operated several businesses, Carol founded Bon Jovi’s namesake band’s fan club. “They’re great, they’re absolutely fantastic, it was a very small family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be,” Bon Jovi said on BBC’s The One Show on May 28.
