Jon Bon Jovi Was Thanked By The Nashville Police For Helping Talk A Woman Off A Bridge Ledge

The rock 'n' roll icon and his team got a "shout out" from Nashville police for getting the woman to safety.

Jon Bon Jovi and a colleague talked a woman off a Nashville bridge ledge on Tuesday, police said ― and their act of compassion was captured on surveillance video. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer was filming a music video on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in downtown Nashville when the two sprang into action, The Tennessean reported. In footage released by the Metro Nashville Police Department and shared by The Associated Press (which appears to have edited it), a woman stands on the ledge beyond the safety railing.
