Jon Bon Jovi says he'll end singing career on a high note if his voice doesn't improve after throat surgery: 'I don't ever need to be the fat Elvis'


The 62-year-old performer underwent throat surgery in 2022 and is still undergoing vocal therapy to maintain the state of his voice, which he hopes to gradually improve as time goes on.

However, the singer — who recently spoke about meeting Michael Jackson — told the outlet that, if he thought his future performances wouldn't hold up to his standards, he was satisfied with ending his singing days on a high note. Bon Jovi's leadguitarist, Phil X, revealed that recording for the band's sixteenth album, entitled Forever, had begun in October of last year during an episode of the NTTFG Podcast.
