The long-awaited feature, which will also star Lady Gaga, was given the rating by The Motion Picture Association for 'some strong violence, language throughout, some sexuality, and brief full nudity,' according to People. Gaga previously followed in Judy Garland's footsteps when she played the female lead in the 2018 film A Star Is Born, co-starring and directed by Bradley Cooper. At the end of the picture, the Joker is arrested and thrown in Arkham Asylum after he goes on late-night television, confesses to multiple murders and then shoots the host played by Robert De Niro dead on the air.
