Johnny Gaudreau's wife Meredith shared two children with the late hockey player, daughter Noa and son Johnny

Prior to his death on Thursday, August 29 — he and brother Matthew Gaudreau were killed while biking in New Jersey — Johnny and Meredith first became parents when daughter Noa Harper was born in September 2022, one year after the couple got married. Johnny and Matthew were in Oldsman Township to celebrate their sister Katie’s wedding and were set to be groomsmen later that week in a Philadelphia ceremony. Following their Johnny and Matthew’s deaths, Us Weekly confirmed that driver Sean M. Higgins was arrested and charged with two counts of vehicular homicide.
