Johnny Depp's 'Modì' is getting Italian Distribution via new company Be Water and Maestro Distribution.
The “Modì” cast also comprises Antonia Desplat, Stephen Graham (“The Irishman”), Bruno Gouery (“The White Lotus”), Ryan McParland (“Halo”), Benjamin Lavernhe (“Jean du Barry”) and Sally Phillips (“Bridget Jones” trilogy). “Modi” is represented for international sales by Veterans and Range Media Partners for North America, who also negotiated the ILBE and Red Sea Film Fund participation in Depp’s sophomore directorial outing. Be Water Film just released Francesco Lettieri’s Naples-set “Il segreto di Liberato” — which rose to the top of the Italian box office last week — and will, as previously announced, distribute Paul Schrader’s Cannes competition title “Oh, Canada” in Italy in collaboration with Medusa.
