Johnny Depp is not selling £43m France mansion and instead has shelled out on huge renovations - nine years after putting it on the market following split from Vanessa Paradis
The actor, 60, has been trying to sell the picturesque home since 2015, and had previously hiked up the price to $55.5 million to fund his costly divorce from Amber Heard.
The thespian spent most of his time at the villa near St Tropez with French singer-actress Vanessa where he was said to love the quiet life of growing vegetables, shopping in the nearby town and playing with the couple's children, Lily-Rose Melody and Jack. Depp's feud with TMG began in January 2017, when he sued the company for £19.5 million, claiming it mismanaged his earnings during a lucrative period of his career, made unauthorized loans and overpaid for security and other services. The house, nicknamed Betty Sue's Family Farm in honor of his late mom, was put on an auction in 2017, however Depp's business manager refused to accept the top bid of just £1.1 million.
