Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz slated to work together again on action film Day Drinker
The Oscar-nominated actor, 61, and Oscar-winning actress, 50, will star in the action thriller Day Drinker, with Marc Webb, 50, directing.
Depp starred in the French movie Jeanne du Barry in 2023, and directed this year's independent film Modi: Three Days on the Wing of Madness. The storyline of the project, the outlet reported, was described as 'a cruise ship bartender' and 'a mysterious day drinker' crossing paths and finding 'themselves entangled in a criminal underbelly, and connected in unexpected ways.'
