Johnny Cannizzaro To Play Stevie Van Zandt In Bruce Springsteen Biopic ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere’
Johnny Cannizzaro has joined the ensemble cast of 20th Century's Bruce Springsteen biopic, 'Deliver Me From Nowhere.'
The New Jersey native will portray Springsteen’s long-time confidant and E-Street band guitarist, Stevie Van Zandt, sources close to production tell Deadline. Scott Stuber, in his first project since exiting as longtime Netflix Film head, is producing alongside of Gotham Group’s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Eric Robinson, and Copper Zanes. Cannizzaro’s credits include the Charlotte Lubert-directed film My House in the role of Charlie Chaplin and Clint Eastwood’s Jersey Boys as Nick DeVito.
