The host behind HBO/Max's "How To With John Wilson" chronicles what it's like to hit the awkward Emmy campaign trail in a new FYC short.
For three seasons, HBO/Max’s “ How To With John Wilson ” chronicled the quirks, mysteries and sometimes just plain mundane aspects of living in New York. Also, “The Sopranos” alum Michael Imperioli showed up in Wilson’s short to explain why the wing on his statuette is clipped. “I feel a bit like HBO’s little cousin that has a camera, because, they kind of asked me to make a little movie for their family reunion here last week,” he said to the crowd at HBO/Max’s FYC gathering.
