John Turturro and Tom Rothman to Be Honored at Museum of the Moving Image Benefit Event (EXCLUSIVE)

John Turturro and Sony executive Tom Rothman will receive honors from the Museum of the Moving Image at the Spring Moving Image Awards, on June 9.

He also appeared last year in the Pedro Almodóvar film “The Room Next Door” as Damian, a confidant to Julianne Moore’s character. “We thank both Tom Rothman and John Turturro for allowing us to honor them at the Museum, where we are experiencing incredible growth, and with exciting new developments on the horizon. Funds raised at the gala will go towards supporting all of our activities for our more than 250,000 annual visitors, from our acclaimed screening series to our education programs which attract more than 70,000 students a year,” Aziz Isham, MoMI’s Executive Director, said in a statement.
