John Torode finally breaks silence over MasterChef co-star Gregg Wallace calling allegations 'awful to hear'

MasterChef judge John Torode has broken his silence following allegations against co-host Gregg Wallace, calling them 'awful to hear' and 'truly upsetting'

John Torode has broken his silence after Gregg Wallace stepped down from his MasterChef role after an investigation was launched by the BBC show's production company into allegations of inappropriate behaviour. Three episodes of BBC Two’s Inside The Factory, which are repeats, have also been removed from the schedule, but the current series of MasterChef: The Professionals will remain on air. Last week Banijay UK, the production company behind MasterChef, announced that Gregg would be stepping away from his role following complaints from individuals in relation to historical allegations of misconduct.
