John Mayer Reveals Index Finger Injury, Has Been Practicing Guitar Using His ‘Other Three Fingers’
John Mayer took to Instagram to reveal that last week, he injured his left index finger in a truck door.
The “Your Body Is a Wonderland” singer took to Instagram on Thursday (Aug. 1) — the first day of the new string of residency dates — to reveal that last week, he injured his left index finger in a truck door. He continued, “In the meantime, I have spent every day practicing guitar using the other three fingers and I think I have it sounding pretty good! I’ve always felt like every part of me belongs to these shows, and it’s my responsibility to return to the stage each night without screwing up the equipment, and I’m sorry for the misadventure here.
