John Lithgow 'was so amped' to get naked in new movie, director says: 'Part of what appealed' to him

John Lithgow plays Olivia Colman's dad in the new movie 'Jimpa,' where his character loves to be nude. And apparently, it didn't take much to convince the two-time Oscar nominee to strip down.

He plays a dad and grandfather nicknamed Jimpa, who left his family behind in Australia a lifetime ago so that he could live his life independently as a gay man and activist in Amsterdam. As for Colman, the Oscar winner had equally kind things to say about the star of movies including Footloose, Shrek, and Conclave. His Churchill appeared in a single episode the Emmy winner, just as Colman was taking over the part of Queen Elizabeth II from Claire Foy.
