John Legend, Sheryl Crow & More Join Dawes For ‘I Love L.A.’ Tribute Opening At 67th Grammy Awards
As Hollywood gathered for the 67th Grammy Awards, the festivities started with a tribute to Los Angeles following the recent devastating wildfires.
Following a touching intro from host Trevor Noah, Dawes kicked off the awards show with an upbeat cover of Randy Newman’s ‘I Love L.A.’, for which they were joined onstage by John Legend, Sheryl Crow, Brad Paisley, Brittany Howard and St. Vincent. The Recording Academy previously revealed Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Doechii, Raye, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, Teddy Swims, Brad Paisley, Brittany Howard, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Cynthia Erivo, Herbie Hancock, Jacob Collier, Janelle Monáe, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Sheryl Crow, St. Vincent and Stevie Wonder as part of the Grammy performance lineup. The awards show will also feature a series of special performances during the In Memoriam segment, a salute to the life and legacy of Quincy Jones and tributes celebrating the spirit of the city of Los Angeles.
