John Legend to Perform Prince Tribute to Welcome Tim Walz to DNC Stage
John Legend will welcome Minnesota governor Tim Walz to the DNC stage Wednesday with a medley of songs by one of the state’s most iconic artists, Prince.

Legend is no stranger to Prince’s music, having previously performed the Purple One’s music at the star-studded Grammys’ “Let’s Go Crazy” tribute to Prince back in 2020, where Legend played a piano rendition of the Prince-penned Sinead O’Connor hit “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
