John Legend Calls Diddy Allegations ‘Shameful’: ‘I Was Horrified’

John Legend spoke out on the allegations against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, saying he was ‘horrified’ and hoping all instances of abuse will be ‘brought to light’

On May 17, 2024, CNN released security footage where Diddy, 54, could be seen pushing over and kicking Cassie in front of an elevator at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles. Legend collaborated with Diddy on the 2023 track “Kim Porter,” a tribute to Combs’ long-time girlfriend and the mother of three of his seven children. “When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday,” Firetog, a partner at Wigdor LLP, said at the time.
