John Krasinski Returning to Star in ‘Jack Ryan’ Movie for Amazon

Andrew Bernstein, who served as an executive producer and director on season two of the series, will direct the feature that takes the hit series into long-form storytelling.

The company is developing a feature film that will see series topliner John Krasinski return to the titular role as the intrepid CIA analyst. Skydance’s David Ellison and Dana Goldberg will executive produce alongside John Kelly and Carlton Cuse. Krasinski, who is also an accomplished filmmaker, recently wrote, produced and directed the family fantasy IF, in which he starred alongside Ryan Reynolds.
