John Goodman ‘Touched’ by Costar and Producer Tom Cruise’s Efforts After On-Set Injury Stops Filming
After John Goodman suffered a 'hip injury' on set, costar and film's producer Tom Cruise has been doting over the actor, a source exclusively tells Closer.
A source exclusively tells Closer that after the 72-year-old suffered a hip injury, “They shut down production to give John time to recover and that is no surprise, because Tom is an executive producer on this and he always puts the well-being of the actors first.” Earlier in March, a spokesperson for Warner Bros. announced the Roseanne star “received immediate medical attention that led to a brief delay in shooting to allow him time to recover,” after suffering an injury on set, though exact details haven’t been made public. While John is certainly enjoying his upcoming film’s executive producer taking so much care with his situation, the unfortunate accident came shortly after The Connors star lost his home in the January wildfires that tore through the Los Angeles area.
