John Fogerty Is Releasing “John’s Versions” of Creedence Clearwater Revival Classics
The legendary artist is sharing the new versions through his upcoming album 'Legacy: the Creedence Clearwater Revival years,' set to release Aug. 22.
John Fogerty is set to release a new album filled with re-recorded versions of some of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s most iconic songs. Legacy features 20 songs including famed tracks like “Bad Moon Rising,” “Fortunate Son,” “Down on the Corner” and “Proud Mary” among others. Finally in 2023, Fogerty cut a deal with Concord, Fantasy Records’ current owner, buying a majority stake in CCR’s publishing catalog.
