John Farnham pays tribute to the fans who have supported him during his cancer battle - including Tom Jones and Coldplay's Chris Martin
He was struck down with cancer two years ago.
'My mum gets voice video messages from Chris Martin from Coldplay and Tom Jones, which is quite funny, checking in on dad,' he reported to the Herald Sun. John was declared cancer-free last August and wowed fans earlier this year when he attended the wedding of his oldest son, Rob, 44, and his new bride Melissa. The operation, carried out by 26 medical staff, also saw a major part of his jaw removed and, 12 months after the surgery Farnham revealed that he was cancer free.
