John Erwin, who began as an actor on the Clint Eastwood western "Rawhide," and segued into a voice performer, died of natural causes.
Toronto Star via Getty ImagesJohn Erwin, who began as an actor with a recurring role on the Clint Eastwood western Rawhide and segued into an active voice performer, died of natural causes in his home in Camarillo, California. “Working with John Erwin was a ballad of irreverence, professionalism and surprise,” Alan Oppenheimer, who starred as the evil Skeletor on He-Man, said in a statement. Erwin also served as an announcer/narrator on such TV shows as Here’s Lucy and Malcolm & Eddie and in films including Looker in 1981, Everybody’s All-American in 1988, and Back to the Future Part II in 1989.
