Also executive producing is David Spielgelman, the long-standing studio leader who most recently served as President of Domestic Television Distribution for STX Entertainment, and who previously spent more than a decade with both EuropaCorp and New Line Cinema. This isn’t the first time James has played a well known sports personality having recently starred as NFL head coach Sean Payton in the Netflix movie, Home Team. The movie was the true story of how Payton went on to coach his son’s 6th-grade football team while he is being suspended for the entire 2012 season as a result of his role in the Saints’ Bountygate scandal.
