John Cena Discusses Upcoming WWE Retirement Tour, 'Jackpot' Long-Term Stories

WWE legend John Cena talks further about his retirement tour plans, and possibly breaking Ric Flair's title record.

John Cena's highly anticipated 2025 retirement tour has many in the wrestling industry speculating who the veteran will face as the curtain closes on his career. "I think what's interesting about the tour is there is some jackpot long shot scenarios where [winning a 17th World Championship] can happen," he said. Because of all the potential chances he'll have at proving himself, Cena thinks that this could build anticipation and make people believe that he might just break the record, especially if he starts winning matches again in January, as he hasn't tasted victory since 2018.
