Joseph “Joey” Tufaro, a producer best known for Kidnap(2017) and Maggie(2015), died at home in Lakeview, Louisiana on July 21 at 58. After a successful 20+ year career as a real estate developer and a brief stint of owning minority interest in several car dealerships, he turned his sights on learning how Hollywood finances independent films. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Metairie on Friday.
