Jess White was pulled into a tense love triangle over Ronnie Vint from the start, before finally finding her man Hugo Godfroy in Casa Amor – only for him to express doubts over their connection. Before the pair were dumped after receiving the fewest votes from the public, Southampton electrician Hugo, 24, confided in fellow Islander Ayo Odukoya that he felt something was “missing” from their romance and that their conversations were “a bit dry”. He added that half of the clothes he took into Casa Amor “strobed” on camera – when studio lights flicker when pointed at a pattern-heavy material – a problem that Jess also suffered with.
