The Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at New York University’s Tisch School has announced its fall artist in residence: artist/actor Joey Bada$$.

The Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts has announced its fall 2024 artist in residence: artist/actor/social activist and Brooklynite Joey Bada$$. Bada$$ was the founder of Pro Era and Beast Coast hip-hop collectives, star of the 2021 Academy Award-winning Netflix short film “Two Distant Strangers,” and is currently in production on Season 5 of “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” which premieres on the Starz network this winter. The program is going into its second year, featuring artist Denzel Curry, NFL player Stefon Diggs, KidSuper designer Colm Dillane and applications remain open until the end of September.
