Joel Smallbone is one half of the faith-based duo “For King and Country” with his brother Luke. Now Joel’s gone Hollywood with his autobiographical movie “Unsung Hero.” “Extra” spoke with Joel, who stars in, co-directed, co-wrote, and produced the movie about his family’s move from Australia to Nashville, their musical journey, and his mother’s unwavering faith to overcome challenges in a new country. He shared, “This is an honor project to Mum… It’s an honor project to our unsung heroes.” “Unsung Hero” is out in theaters now.
