Joel and Benji Madden’s Veeps to Launch ‘Improbably Poppy’ Variety Show

Joel & Benji Madden teamed up with singer-songwriter and performance artist Poppy for the variety show 'Improbably Poppy,' launching Oct. 11 on Veeps.

“Improbably Poppy” launches Oct. 11 on Veeps with six episodes, each titled for the topics explored: “Taking Risks,” “Education,” “Free Will,” “Hygiene,” “Growing Up” and “Nature.” “Improbably Poppy” is the latest offering from the performance artist, who first rose to prominence on YouTube a decade ago with the blasé catchphrase, “I’m Poppy.” The new show comes amid a big year for Poppy, who kicked off 2024 by joining Bad Omens on the “Concrete Forever Tour” across Europe, followed by her headlining “Zig” tour, as well as support shows for Avenged Sevenfold and Thirty Seconds To Mars. Veeps began teasing the announcement last week with a series of Instagram reels offering a glimpse into Poppy’s surreal take on a variety show, which includes comedic segments, musical performances, guest interviews that “border on brutal” and “sass-filled commentary” by a cast of puppets.
