Joe Jonas’ New Music Wasn’t a Fit for Jonas Brothers or DNCE, So He’s Officially Going Solo

Joe Jonas has announced his official debut solo single 'Work It Out,' out July 19. It marks his first release outside of DNCE and Jonas Brothers.

The Jonas Brothers and DNCE member will release his technical debut solo single “Work It Out” on Friday, July 19, as the first preview from an album of his own. During a recent appearance on the podcast Therapuss, the 34-year-old revealed that the forthcoming album started taking shape when he realized the music he was working on wasn’t a perfect fit for either of his bands. He worked with Alexander 23, Justin Trainor, Jason Evigan, Tommy English, MUNA’s Josette Maskin, Paris Carney, and more.
