Joe Jonas is gearing up to release his first solo album in 13 years, and he has officially began the journey with the release of "Work It Out."

“I’m both excited and emotional as I’m gearing up to release new music,” he wrote in the post, with a scenic mountain and lake landscape in the background. These songs reflect on my life from a bird’s-eye view acknowledging the many blessings around me,” Jonas wrote in a lengthy statement announcing the project, which arrives on Oct. 18. I feel incredibly fortunate to travel the world and connect with people through my music, as well as having had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented musicians, songwriters, and producers on this project.”
