Joe Jonas and Aly & AJ Squash Decades-Long Beef in New TikTok
Aly and AJ subtly addressed their 2007 hit 'Potential Break Up Song' about Joe Jonas in new joint TikTok video.
The video starts with Jonas holding up an iPhone to his ear before the camera pans to AJ Michalka and finally lands on Aly as the song’s verse plays over the unlikely trio. It was speculated that Jonas was the subject of “Potential Break Up Song” as the shitty boyfriend who committed the cardinal relationship sin of forgetting his girlfriend’s birthday. But in 2020, Aly & AJ told BusinessInsider that the track “wasn’t connected to any particular person” after they had tweeted that the song “Flattery” was actually about the JoBro.
