Joe Biden passed on a Super Bowl interview with host network CBS, but earlier today the White House released a social media spot in which the president lamented some of the actions of big brand advertisers. Shrinkflationis an actual issue, as companies have shrink the size of products in recent years, saving costs during a period of inflation. The White House passed on Biden’s Super Bowl sit down, a decision that has had some second guessing among some Democrats in the wake of the release of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report that made mention of Biden’s “poor memory.” The White House has been pushing back on Hur for those comments, calling them inappropriate in a report focused on Biden’s handling of classified documents.
