The 2022 National Humanities Medal recipients include philanthropist Wallis Annenberg, community arts and programming center Appalshop, poet Joy Harjo, principal and educator Robin Harris, writer Juan Felipe Herrera, Indigenous higher education administrator Robert Martin, Meacham, higher education administrator Ruth J.
