Jody Frisch Dies; Veteran Communications Exec Who Worked For WGA & SAG-AFTRA Was 68


Jody Frisch, an accomplished communications executive with a career spanning decades in both Hollywood and Washington, D.C., died Aug. 21 at 68.

Throughout her career, Frisch held key positions at organizations such as the WGA, SAG-AFTRA, the American Humane Association, BGR Group, and the National Foreign Trade Council. A native of Los Angeles who grew up in the San Fernando Valley and attended high school in Hollywood, Frisch immediately embarked on a publicity career. Her work spanned a range of industries, and she was known for her expertise in executing numerous media campaigns, crisis and reputation management initiatives, and public policy advocacy efforts.
