Joanna Lumley says she doesn't have 'much time left' as she makes sad admission


Absolutely Fabulous star Dame Joanna Lumley has opened up about her own mortality as she approaches her 79th birthday, admitting that she doesn't have 'much time left'

Dame Lumley is best known for her role in 'Absolutely Fabulous' Reflecting on the inevitability of life's journey, she mused, "My time must be coming quite soon, and I don't want to have wasted a minute of being on this beautiful planet. Joanna had always dreamt of being an actress since her teenage years, but faced rejection from drama school before she found success as a model in London during the Swinging Sixties. She then dipped her toes into acting with minor roles before scoring a part in the 1969 James Bond film, On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
