Director and actress Joan Chen signs with Anonymous Content for management.
Joan ChenRodin Eckenroth/Getty Images for BAFTA Chen can most recently be seen in Sean Wang’s DiDi, for which she was nominated for a Film Independent Spirit Award. Her career began with her winning the prestigious “Hundred Flowers Award ” for Best Actress, China’s equivalent to an Oscar, during her teenage years. After moving to the U.S. at twenty, Chen earned rave reviews as the female-lead in Bernardo Bertolucci’s 9x Oscar winning film The Last Emperor and was part of the core cast of David Lynch’s Emmy-winning Twin Peaks.
