Jimmy Tatro & Dan Lagana Teaming With A24 On ‘Lifties’ Comedy For HBO
'Lifties,' a new comedy series from Jimmy Tatro and Dan Lagana, is in development at HBO, Deadline can exclusively reveal.
Most recently, they set Robby Hoffman to co-write and star in Unentitled following her standout turn as Randi, the eccentric assistant to talent managers Jimmy and Kayla, in the latest season of Hacks. One of today’s rising comedic stars, both in front of and behind the camera, Tatro is currently shooting a role opposite Will Ferrell and Zac Efron in Judgment Day, Amazon MGM Studios’ courtroom comedy from director Nick Stoller. Lagana most recently came aboard to co-write and produce The Breadwinner, TriStar’s comedy starring Nate Bargatze, which this morning announced the addition of Mandy Moore and more to its cast.
