Jimmy Kimmel's Oscar salary is just a fraction of his late-night talk show salary... as he gets ready to host the awards show for a fourth time

While the stars are out hitting the Oscars red carpet , late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is getting ready to host Hollywood's biggest night for a third time.

Kimmel revealed on KROQ's Kevin and Bean radio show in 2017 that he was paid just $15,000 for hosting the ceremony that year. While it's possible his salary may have increased for the 2024 ceremony, it didn't seem to change much when Kimmel interviewed Wanda Sykes in 2022. Music producer Mark Ronson - who wrote the popular song alongside Andrew Wyatt - also spoke about the possibility of Ryan performing at the Oscars and told reporters at the 2024 Grammys that it would be his 'dream.'
