High Hopes, which launches on April 20, otherwise known as 4.20, a key time or date in marijuana parlance, follows two brothers running their weed business in a new age of legal cannabis in Los Angeles High Hopes is executive produced by Kimmel, Scott Lonker, Ben Steinbauer, who serves as showrunner, Tim Cohen-Laurie and Karl Hollandt. It is Kimmel’s latest series for Disney-backed platform or network; his company makes The Prank Panel and Generation Gap for ABC and is behind Live in Front of a Studio Audience.
