However, Kimmel joked that the salary is “gum money” to girlfriend Taylor Swift, who was added to Forbes World’s Billionaires List last month, as the “Fortnight” superstar amassed an estimated $1.1 billion fortune this year, according to the publication. “Can you imagine being in a relationship where you make $34 million and you’re still the broke boyfriend?” Kimmel joked, before pointing out Swift’s major Billboard Hot 100 accomplishment following the release of her 11th studio album The Tortured Poets Department.
