Jimmy Fallon & Jon Hamm Transform Into Creed for Hilarious ‘With Arms Wide Open’ Music Video Recreation

The Mad Men actor was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon recently, where the duo reminisced on the time that they “used to be Creed.” A flashback then took place, in which both Hamm and Fallon rock frontman Stapp’s long brown locks and yellow jacket he wore in the 1999 music video for Creed’s hit, “With Arms Wide Open.” The two take turns belting the lyrics amid a vast green landscape, hitting the triumphant chorus — and deeply embracing each other in the process — by singing, “With arms wide open under the sunlight/ Welcome to this place, I’ll show you everything.” As a group, Creed has notched hits including “One,” “Higher,” “My Sacrifice” and, of course, “With Arms Wide Open.” Their 1999 sophomore album, Human Clay, has sold 11.7 million copies to date, according to Luminate.
