Jimmy Carter Wins Posthumous Grammy For Best Audiobook Narration
Following his death at age 100 in December, President Jimmy Carter won a Grammy Award on Sunday.
Beyoncé led the nominations with 11 categories, followed by Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone and Charli XCX at seven each, and Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan with six apiece. The Recording Academy previously revealed Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Doechii, Raye, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, Teddy Swims, Brad Paisley, Brittany Howard, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Cynthia Erivo, Herbie Hancock, Jacob Collier, Janelle Monáe, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Sheryl Crow, St. Vincent and Stevie Wonder as part of the Grammy performance lineup. The awards show will also feature a series of special performances during the In Memoriam segment, a salute to the life and legacy of Quincy Jones and tributes celebrating the spirit of the city of Los Angeles.
