Jimmie Allen's Former Manager Speaks Out After Dropping Sexual Assault Lawsuit Against Singer

Jimmie Allen's former manager, who accused him of sexual assault, has shared a statement through her lawyer for the first time since dropping the case she filed against him.

Several days after the country music star and his former manager, 38, agreed to move past litigation on Thursday, her lawyers at FeganScott confirmed to PEOPLE that she filed a revised stipulation agreement to finalize the decision to drop her claims on Monday. The attorney explained that Allen offered to pay a financial settlement in exchange for not bringing the case to trial, which FeganScott "agreed to in order to save my client from the emotional trauma of reliving her experience." Fegan also noted that "both parties agreed to confidentiality about the case," which Allen "reportedly violated" by "implying Jane Doe recanted her allegations and walked away from the litigation."
