Country singer Jimmie Allen tearfully recalled how he contemplated suicide 'every single day' after being accused of sexual assault by multiple women in 2023.

The attorney claims Allen declined with the response 'was colored with threats that his team would take steps to publicly tarnish my client' - leaving Jane with no choice but to 'protect herself' by filing the complaint. Jane began her job at Wide Open Music in April 2020 and claims that the first time she met Allen at a remote capture for CMA Summer Jam in May 2020 - that he shouted from the stage 'Are you single?' In a statement announcing the countersuit Allen denied the sexual assault allegation again and said: 'As the son and brother of rape victims, and the father of daughters, these false claims are extremely hurtful to me and everyone around me.'
